At 50, 60, 70: you can start any time.
Many come to us thinking “I'm too old for this” or “I'd have to get fit first.” Neither is true. We see the biggest gains in strength, mobility and everyday stability in members who start training after decades off or for the very first time.
What you need isn't preparation, but a coach who knows your body and adds exactly as much load as you can carry right now. With us that's the standard, not the exception.
Three things that matter now.
01Strength
Muscle and bone density decline if you do nothing. Strength training reverses the trend and protects you in everyday life from falls and injuries.
02Mobility
Mobile shoulders, hips and ankles decide how independent you'll still be in ten years. We train that in every session.
03Community
You train in a group where the coach and members know you. No senior label, no gym anonymity: you're part of the box, like everyone else.
Returning athletes, first-timers, rehab comebacks.
You start where you are. What you can't do yet, you learn.
- Returning athletes
You did a lot of sport earlier and have a 20-year break behind you. We build you back up step by step.
- First-timers
You were never a sporty type and want to start now. It's never too late, and you don't have to get fit first to begin.
- After surgery or illness
You want a controlled return to movement. Your coach knows your limitations and adjusts every movement.
- Strengthen bones and joints
Your doctor recommended strength training or you want to take preventive action. Functional training is built for exactly that.

Every movement comes in your version.
Squat to a chair instead of deep into a full squat. Push-up against the wall instead of on the floor. Rope climb instead of a pull-up on the bar. A five-kilo dumbbell instead of fifty. Every movement can be adjusted: to your joints, your form on the day, your history.
That isn't planned in advance — it happens live with your coach. Before each session you see the workout on the board, your coach goes through it with you and tells you which variation is yours today.
60 minutes, clearly structured.
Warmup: you ease into it. Mobility, easy pace, settling into the group.
Skill & strength: one movement is the focus. Your coach demonstrates it, builds up the load for you, corrects individually.
Workout: the main part. Demanding, but at your pace and with your scaling. Nobody rushes you.
Cooldown: you stretch, catch your breath, swap a few words. Afterwards you head home more alert than when you arrived.
Common questions.
Am I too old for CrossFit?
No. We train members well over 70. What you see in a competition video on YouTube has little to do with everyday life in the box. With us you start where you are.
I have knee or back problems. Can I still do it?
In the vast majority of cases, yes, and often this is exactly the training that helps. Tell your coach in the trial session what's going on. We adjust movements, leave out what's problematic and build up what does you good.
Do I have to see a doctor first?
With acute complaints, recent surgery or a heart history, yes. Otherwise no. We can't issue you a medical certificate, but we're practiced at adjusting training load to your body.
Will I be lost in a group of 25-year-olds?
No. Our groups are small (max. 12) and mixed, from early 20s to well over 60. Mornings and early afternoons are quieter; you can choose those times on purpose.
How often should I come?
2–3 times a week is the standard for noticeable progress. More works, less works too. More important than the frequency is that you come regularly.
