What is Hyrox?

An indoor race of running and functional training.

1 km run, then SkiErg. Another 1 km, then Sled Push. And so on, eight times over. At the end you've logged 8 km of running and eight stations on the clock. The disciplines are identical worldwide: SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rower, Farmer's Carry, Sandbag Lunges, Wall Balls.

That standardization means your time in Hamburg compares directly with one in Las Vegas. You can compete solo, in pairs or as a relay, or simply train the disciplines as a tough endurance workout without ever signing up for an event.

How we train Hyrox

Fixed Hyrox sessions on the schedule.

On the weekly schedule: coached Hyrox sessions, every week in the same slot. You'll find current times on the schedule.

Tailored to the format: we train the eight stations, practice the run transitions and pacing. SkiErg, sled, Wall Balls and everything else are ready in the box.

Scaled: weights and reps are adjusted for you. You don't need to have trained beforehand or bring a particular base fitness.

If you want to compete

Four weeks before a Hyrox we build up with purpose.

01Station drills

Each of the eight stations is practiced on its own: technique, efficiency and economical movement over the distance.

02Run conditioning

You learn to run fast on tired legs. That's the decisive difference from regular run training.

03Pacing & transitions

The seconds between run and station decide it. We train clean transitions without a drop in conditioning.

04Race simulation

In the last week we taper the volume and go through a shortened Hyrox under race conditions.

Who is Hyrox for?

For race athletes and anyone who wants to build conditioning.

You start where you are. What you can't do yet, you learn.

  • Beginners

You want to sign up for your first Hyrox. We build you up step by step.

  • Experienced starters

You've raced before and want to drop your time. We refine pacing, transitions and weak spots.

  • Build conditioning

You want tough endurance training without signing up for an event. Hyrox is built for that too.

  • CrossFitters

You train CrossFit with us and want to fold in the Hyrox disciplines on purpose.

Still on the fence?

Common questions.

Do I have to compete in a Hyrox if I come to the session?

No. Many in our Hyrox sessions train the format because it's an efficient conditioning workout. Signing up is your call.

Do I need CrossFit experience?

No. The Hyrox stations are technically simpler than many CrossFit movements. In the trial session we show you the basics.

How fit do I have to be?

Less than you think. The runs are 1 km segments with stations in between, not one long-distance run. Your coach adjusts pace, weights and rest to your level.

What equipment do I need?

Training clothes and shoes, nothing more. SkiErg, sled, Wall Balls and everything else are ready in the box.

How often should I train?

Anyone training toward a Hyrox comes 2–3 times a week: the Hyrox session plus one or two CrossFit or running sessions. Without a race goal, the Hyrox session once a week is enough.
